A little bit about me
I am originally from North Yorkshire and moved to the South East with my then boyfriend, now husband, after completing a BA Honours degree from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle.
My early career began in Canary Wharf as a Marketing Communications Executive for a software provider.
After several years, I retrained as a primary school teacher, got married and became the mum of three beautiful girls. Therefore, I appreciate how challenging it can be to be a mother, juggling childcare, running a home and working with no family living near-by or able to offer support.
Although, I have always been a tidy and well organised person, my role as a class teacher and being the mother of three children, close in age, has definitely given me the skills to organise my home in a practical manner. My love of interior design and creative thinking helps me to style homes and choose the best storage solutions for different purposes. I am not a minimalist and I believe that we can have the things we like on display however, the way that they are displayed should be aesthetically pleasing. If you prefer a more minimal look, I am able to adapt to help you achieve your needs, as it’s your space and has to feel right for you. I offer a range of decluttering services from home staging to office organising.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO UK) and I abide by their code of ethics. I am also a Senior Move Partner for The Senior Move Partnership (TSMP).
I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioners Office under the data protection act. I also have an up-to-date DBS.
